On Saturday, October 5, 2024, Windward Plaza in Venice Beach came alive with the Venice Afterburn, a dynamic two-day art and music festival celebrating Burning Man culture. Organized by the nonprofit Dogtown Artists United and supported by LALA (La League of Arts), the festival ran from 12 PM to 10 PM, offering a family-friendly, immersive experience.
Attendees were treated to a vibrant display of art cars, theme camps, burner bikes, and interactive installations, bringing the unique playa art of Burning Man to the beach. Admission was free before 6 PM, with the last entry at 9 PM, and the event encouraged early arrival to ensure full participation in the festivities.
